Provided it is used with a D/A processor that offers effective jitter rejection, the USB Link 24/96 does what Bel Canto promises it will do, and can be recommended. And thank you, Bel Canto, for providing the USB Link 24/96 and e.One DAC3, which so effectively communicated the music.

I've used and listened to many other converters at all price ranges and consider the Bel Canto USB Link a great product to link the traditional world of High-End audio to the new and improved High-End 2.0 where music servers reign and high resolution is the norm.
The Absolute Sound
The USB Link 24/96 is a cleverly conceived USB-to-S/PDIF converter that enables any PC to play music through virtually any DAC. Along with this flexibility comes higher resolution than most USB-capable DACs, plus a less plastic, more dynamic, airier sound. The Link cannot completely overcome USB’s intrinsic sonic limitations, but it is ideal for those who must use that interface.
