Chord Anthem 2 RCA to RCA Analogue Interconnect 1m

The Chord Anthem 2 is truly State of the art: with a silver plated oxygen free copper design and multi strand central conductor. Insulation is a low density Teflon with an attractive white braid.

Improved shielding offers a real improvement in dynamic performace, noise reduction, and levels of detail.

The original Chord Anthem was the first of Chords' interconnects to make use of a high frequency effective shielding system. The performance advantage that the shielding system produced inspired the company to experiment further and produce the Chord Signature and Indigo interconnects.  These in turn have influenced the design of the Anthem 2.  

The shielding system is now more effective. Combined with the silver plated, oxygen free copper multi stranded conductor and Teflon™ insulation, the Anthem 2 is capable of accurately carrying very fine levels of detail and dynamic information across a wide band width.

The original low mass RCA plug fitted to the Anthem is carried forward onto the Anthem 2 and although deceptively simple in appearance, offers a lot of performance advantages over more conventional RCA plugs.  

Capable of producing an extremely dynamic sound over a wide band width, Anthem 2, when used in a system with speakers capable of serious bass extension, will really help to produce superbly defined bass notes that can be felt as well as heard.

CONDUCTORS: Silver-plated oxygen free copper multi-strand signal conductor. Spiralled external signal return conductor

CONFIGURATION: Internal shielded signal conductor with spiralled external signal return path

CONDUCTOR INSULATION: Low density foamed Teflon® outperforms conventional extruded Teflon®. We believe that to obtain the most neutral tonal characteristic from silverplated conductors it is vital to use Teflon® insulation.

SHIELDING: High frequency effective dual layer shielding surrounding signal conductor. Heavy gauge overlapped foil shield surrounded by 100% coverage silver-plated braid.

JACKET: Teflon® shielding surround and external braided jacket. COLOUR: White.

TERMINATIONS: Chord ultra low mass RCA (phono) plugs. Teflon® insulated silver-plated centre pin, ultra low mass silver-plated signal return surround. Plug design avoids the use of any direct pressure on cable, eliminating changes to cable impedance. Also available fitted with Din and XLR plugs.

Anthem 2 Interconnects are covered by Chord's 10 Year repair or replace warranty. This includes defective materials and workmanship but excludes normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions and unauthorised repair or modification.
