The Optichord is constructed using polymer tubing with a domed and polished cable end. The signal cable is protected with a cushioned outer jacket with a hard outer surface. The plug has been carefully engineered to provide a positive connection. When compared to a standard optical cable the Optichord brings vibrancy, life and colour to the system it is fitted to and the Optichord will perform well over lengths of up to 10 metres.
