The Chord Company's new Signet interconnect cable has been designed and built to offer outstanding value and performance. It is based on the current Signature cable that has proved such a hit for the brand, while borrowing both the plug and high frequency shielding system used
in the Anthem 2.

The Signet is an exceptionally capable interconnect, using two runs of cable for each interconnect, both using a silver-plated solid-core conductor, Teflon insulation and a triple layer, high frequency shielding system.  The complex shielding system gives a huge reduction in low-level noise, producing an extremely transparent and seriously dynamic sound.

The triple layer shielded signal and return conductors guarantee a wide bandwidth signal transmission and music is presented in a beautifully coherent and involving manner.

CONDUCTORS: Pseudo-balanced solid core silver-plated signal and return conductors. Identical signal and return conductors improve signal transfer.

CONFIGURATION: Separately shielded signal and return conductors.

CONDUCTOR INSULATION: Low density foamed Teflon® outperforms conventional extruded Teflon®. We believe that to obtain the most neutral tonal characteristic from silverplated conductors it is vital to use Teflon® insulation. Insulation is applied to strict tolerance to minimise unwanted mechanical noise.

SHIELDING: High frequency effective dual layer shielding, applied individually to signal and signal return conductors. Heavy gauge overlapped foil shield surrounded by 100% coverage silver-plated braid. JACKET: Teflon® shielding surround and external braided jacket.

COLOUR: Black.

TERMINATIONS: Chord ultra low mass RCA (phono) plugs. Teflon® insulated silver-plated centre pin, ultra low mass silver-plated signal return surround. Plug design avoids the use of any direct pressure on cable, eliminating changes to cable impedance.

Signet Interconnects are covered by Chord's 10 Year repair or replace warranty. This includes defective materials and workmanship but excludes normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions and unauthorised repair or modification.
