The Excite X32 is an attractive, slim-line floor-standing speaker which combines timeless elegance and full-range sound.
Designed as a traditional two-way loudspeaker, but with the advantage of newly developed dual drivers to ensure even the deepest notes are authentically reproduced, the X32 offers a most vibrant full range performance, while vocals and midrange instruments are perfectly integrated into the soundstage.
The specific properties of Magnesium Silicate Polymer and the special membrane shape guarantee that vocals and midrange instruments are perfectly integrated into the soundstage. Where the benefit of two magnet system and two cone diaphragms will ensure that even the
deepest notes are authentically reproduced.
With a slender front baffle, a full-length front grille and a fine wood grain / piano gloss finish, the X32 is also an elegant living room furnishing.
Dynaudio's new Excite loudspeaker models combine high-end audio performance and pure musical fun.
This is because the Excite models make the most of any amplifier’s or receiver’s power, quickly and precisely following the music signal, while always sounding exceptionally balanced and natural. Dynaudio took advantage of its vast knowledge of driver technology to develop this unique and unrivalled loudspeaker series. The Excite models allow the musical capabilities of every audio system and any source to be fully experienced – with any style of music.
What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision - 5 Stars
We love these Dynaudios. We're keen on the Excite range as a whole, but it's these X32s that shine brightest. So bright in fact, they were triumphant in our 2008 Awards.
A brilliantly balanced, natural delivery; genuine scale, weight and authority; lovely delivery of vocals. The soundstage is far bigger than the speakers' proportions might suggest, and a deep, weighty bottom-end helps to produce a feeling of genuine scale.
It's this overall balance that proves the most valuable feature of the Dynaudios, as it lends them exceptional flexibility with musical genres. From the big-scale electronica of M83's Unrecorded, to the gentle introspection of Sufjan Stevens' John Wayne Gacy Jr, the X32s happily send it out with honest musicality.
Home Theater.com by Steve Guttenberg (reviewed as part of 5.1 system including X22 Centre, X12 Surrounds and Sub 250)
Dynaudio is, first and foremost, an audiophile speaker company, but one that also makes superb home-theater speakers. Wait, that implies it makes separate audiophile and home-theater lines, which is not really true. Dynaudio speakers excel with music and home theater.
From the outside, all the Excite speakers' woofers and tweeters look pretty much the same, but they're not. Each driver is designed for a specific model—for example, while the X32 and X12 share identically sized tweeters and woofers, the drivers are unique to each model. Every part of each speaker is designed and built in Denmark.
The sound so perfectly meshed with the Blu-ray and DVD onscreen action, I didn't notice the speakers.
There's an open quality to the sound of these speakers, especially when you're listening to the complete 5.1-channel ensemble. The soundstage had remarkable depth and spaciousness, and the speakers' disappearing act was astounding.
Two-channel music listening was, in some ways, even better. This CD (The Persuasions Sing U2) was recorded, mixed, and mastered without compression, and the Excite speakers let me hear every nuance of the vocals.
Dynaudio's long-standing motto, "Danes don't lie," nicely sums up the Excite's prime strength—it lets the music or movie speak for itself. In other words, operated within the system's comfort zone, coloration is exceedingly low. In that sense, Dynaudio's sound is no sound. Higher-end Dynaudio models offer pretty much the same non-sound, just more so with greater transparency, deeper bass extension, and increased volume capability.

Dynaudio loudspeakers are held in the highest esteem by the recording engineers of the world’s most prominent recording studios - in fact the demanding British Broad casting Corporation (BBC Radio & Music) selected Dynaudio as the exclusive reference monitor for all of their modern recording and radio studios.
Founded over 30 years ago, when a group of engineers in Skander borg, Denmark who shared the passion for music came to the mutual conclusion that even the best loudspeakers available at the time were incapable of playing music without colouration. Phase shifts, propagation errors, distortion and poor transient response were clearly measurable and audible with virtually all loudspeakers.
From that date, Dynaudio has been dedicated to Authentic Fidelity, ambitiously setting forth to create a completely new and modern generation of loudspeakers based on their dedicated ground-breaking research. Their efforts over this time have resulted in innovative and technologically advanced developments that are at the foundation of Dynaudio’s unparalleled performance.
Innovations such as Dynaudio Directivity Control (DDC) technology have established Dynaudio loudspeakers as a sound quality reference worldwide, and over the years many different Dynaudio models have become audiophile classics: True loudspeaker legends for true music lovers.
