Firestone Audio Rubby DAC & Integrated Amplifier

Firestone Audio's new Rubby is a Digital Stereo Integrated Power Amplifier of  50 watts of power per channel, with built in DAC (Digital Analogue Converter) and a single line level input, all in a compact half width chassis.

Rubby caters for most digital connections including Optical, Coaxial, USB, and professional grade AES/EBU via XLR. Rubby also features a single line level analogue input to allow connection to legacy devices such as a tape deck, or even your iPod.

High power efficiency and low power consumption makes Rubby capable of running for many hours without getting excessively hot or consume copious amounts of power. The 50 watt output is seriously capable of pushing the speakers with high impedance. This is one loud little amplifier!

Rubby's DAC features a low-jitter recovered system clock for superior DA conversion. In addition, Rubby allows you to select a re-sampling frequency from 44.1kHz to 192k.
