IW 827 LCR Installation Speaker Technology

The IW 827 LCR is a 2.5-way design with a 1-inch DTT silk dome tweeter located between the 7-inch woofer and a 7-inch midrange/woofer - both featuring high-end fiberglass/honeycomb composite drivers. This design, coupled with a unique crossover, achieves excellent vertical sound dispersion without the midrange cancellation that can happen in a traditional two-way speakers woofer/tweeter/woofer layout.

The driver configuration gives it a slightly downward optimal listening angle; in other words, it can be installed next to a flat panel TV or alone, relatively high on a wall, and still deliver optimal audio to those seated in the room.
