The SB-1250 THX Select all-discrete amplifier design has exceptional sonic quality and a conservative power rating of 250 watts continuous output.

To facilitate easy connection and ideal system integration, the SB-1250 has inputs and outputs for line-level phono and speaker level signals. Separate controls allow you to set bass level and upper roll-off frequency between 40 – 200 Hz, with a bypass for using the filter in a home theater receiver.

For optimum room integration and precise fine-tuning of the critical transition between the subwoofer and the main speakers, the phase control is continuously variable between 0 and 180º. The SB-1250 handles the crucial bottom octaves with sublime balance, power and impact.

The SB-1250 is a powered subwoofer that uses a special high-performance 12" Super Fast Deep Bass long-throw, coated pulp cone, magnetically shielded driver in a sealed Deep Bass enclosure design which delivers enhanced low frequency extension down to 20 Hz.

A continuously variable phase adjustment from 0-180 degrees allows for perfect integration of the subwoofer with any speaker system and listening room. Speaker level and line level connections are included for maximum set-up flexibility. An automatic On/Standby switching circuit activates the amplifier when a signal is detected and turns it off after a period with no signal. The all-discrete 250 Watt power amplifier circuit features exceptional deep bass power and sonics.
