The SRT 7000 offers the usual STRONG DVR features: easy to use, superior picture quality and improved reception, access to all Digital TV Channels, 500GB Hard Drive, Twin Tuners, Multimedia playback, it also supports a Component & Composite AV Input to record from external devices such as Camcorder, CD, DVD, Pay TV and game consoles.

With MPEG-4 compatibility you can even record and playback 3D broadcasts on a 3DTV!

Now Strong have added Internet CONNECT: with full web browsing, internet radio, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Picassa), resources (Google Maps, Weather), as well as live video streaming from YouTube and more.

There is also inbuilt Smart Phone connectivity with SHARE - for personal photos, video and music from your phone, iPad (or other tablet), PC and DVR (via USB).

Plus you can now use your Apple or Android smart phone as a remote control - a very handy way to have a keyboard for web browsing.

This PVR comes with a wireless dongle for Wifi connection or you can connect to your computer and internet via ethernet cable. You can even add a wireless keyboard and mouse (not supplied).

But back to how the SRT 7000 will change how you watch TV: it features Smart Series Record so you can record every episode of your favourite TV program in simple steps, you don't even need the internet connection for this feature as it uses the pre-supplied On Screen Electronic Program Guide.

The SRT 7000's twin tuners even allow you to record up to 3 programs while watching a 4th! This 4 program trick only works when using the multiple streams from two networks. For example, you can record shows on Channel Ten and ONE (as they are both broadcast by the same station) while also recording a show on Channel 9 and watching a show on GEM (which is a second channel of channel 9's). Alternatively, you can be recording 3 programs while watching a pre-recorded program!

And with a 500GB Hard drive, you can save up to 60 hours of High Definition Content or 250 hours Standard Definition content to watch when it suits you.
