Networking Capabilities and a Built-in AirPlay Technology
The SR7007 features networking capabilities that let you stream Internet radio services like Pandora or SiriusXM as well as more than 12,000 internet radio stations to your home theater system, or even stream digital music or photos located on your home computer or play songs from your iTunes library thanks to built-in AirPlay technology. (SiriusXM subscriptions sold separately.) Marantz's optional RX-101 adapter (sold separately) allows you to connect the SR7007 with Bluetooth devices.

Play 3D and 4K High-Resolution Video
The SR7007 includes built-in 3D pass-through technology that enables it to route 3D video signals from a Blu-ray player to your HDTV. As a result, you can enjoy 3D Blu-ray in dynamic surround sound. The receiver also supports the 4K high-resolution video standard, allowing you to play 4K videos on compatible displays and projectors. The receiver supports both 4K pass-through and 4K upscaling technologies.

Audyssey Technology for Optimal Audio
Built-in Audyssey MultEQ XT technology automatically calibrates your speakers and equalizes your home theater system--resulting in clear, balanced sound, even in large or oddly shaped rooms. Audyssey Dynamic EQ maintains bass, clarity, and surround sound at low volumes--great for late-night TV watching--while Audyssey Dynamic Volume automatically controls volume to deliver the perfect levels for day or night listening. In addition, the receiver features Audyssey DSX technology that produces fully immersive surround sound.

Simple, Elegant, Retro Design
Complementing the SR7007's black, brushed aluminum finish is an illuminated porthole design that recalls Marantz's classic stereo components. A fold-up door conceals the buttons and inputs on the front of the receiver for a more streamlined look.

Intuitive Graphic User Interface and free Smartphone Apps
New improved and intuitive on-screen "Setup Assistant" simplifies the installation process. . In addition, Marantz offers an app called Marantz Remote app that allows you to operate the SR7007 wirelessly from your iPhone, iPad, or Android-based device. With Marantz RC-5 control capability, you can even control legacy Marantz products connected to the SR7007 from the app.

Versatile Connectivity for All of Your Needs
Along with an Ethernet port, the SR7007 comes equipped with a built-in HD radio tuner, seven HDMI inputs including one on the front panel and three HDMI outputs (two parallel and one discrete), so you can enjoy two different HDMI sources in two different rooms at the same time. A USB port on the front panel lets you plug in your iPod, iPhone, or USB flash drive. In addition, the receiver employs 7.2 channel preamp outputs, 7.1 channel external inputs, 3 component video inputs and one output (main/zone assignable) and phono input. All rear panel terminals are gold-plated.

Stream Music Wirelessly with AirPlay
For users with Spotify Premium accounts, the SR7007 offers direct access to more than 18 million music tracks. Spotify streams music content with a high-quality 320 Kbps bitrate, offering high-fidelity listening through your home-audio system.

Anchor Bay ABT2015

The Anchor Bay Technologies' video scaling chip is specially made for applications requiring high-quality up-conversion from standard video like 576i up to high-definition formats including 1080p, I/P conversion and upconversion from analogue video signals to the digital domain for transfer through HDMI. The chip features Anchor Bay's proprietary 10-bit Precision Video Scaling Engine that can independently scale an image horizontally and vertically to achieve an outstanding picture quality for today's demanding high resolution video displays. Dolby TrueHD is Dolby’s next-generation lossless technology developed for high-definition audio coding. Dolby TrueHD supports up to eight full-range channels, allowing the audio engineer to position sounds for a more realistic effect than ever before. Dolby TrueHD is supported by HDMI™, the single-cable digital connection for high-definition audio and video. DTS-HD Master Audio

DTS-HD Master Audio is an optional High Definition Audio format for all Blu-ray Disc™ products. DTS-HD Master Audio format allows a bit-to-bit representation of the original movie’s studio master soundtrack and delivers audio at high constant bit rates superior to standard DVDs.

HDAM

Marantz developed its own discrete circuit boards to replace standard IC's. These HDAM's consists of discrete surface mount components with short mirror image L/R signal paths. Those devices are doing exactly the same thing as the Op-Amps, but outperform the regular IC Op-amps dramatically in terms of the Slew Rate and reduced noise level, resulting in a much more dynamic, accurate and detailed sound. Over the years Marantz developed different types of the HDAM to improve quality and to fit to the special requirements of a product category like CD or amplifier.

HDMI 6in 2out

HDMI combines high-definition video and superb audio in a single digital interface with a bandwidth of up to 10 Gigabits/ second. HDMI complies with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) technology protecting high-value content from unauthorized reproduction and distribution. HDMI is the only interface in consumer electronics that can carry both high-definition video and multi-channel audio e.g. Dolby Digital and DTS in all HD formats, including 720p, 1080i and 1080p. With only a single cable connection all information can be digitally transmitted. The latest HDMI1.3 supports higher resolution audio formats as Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD and a higher bandwidth for higher framerates and extended degradation in colour space.

vTuner connects your Internet-enabled product to the wide world of streamed music and talk. vTuner hosts thousands of Internet radio stations and podcasts on a reliable and maintained platform. The amount of content they offer keeps growing. Stations can be searched by several criteria such as region and genre, etc. but it is also possible to search a station by name or add a URL of a specific station if not listed yet. vTuner doesn't need a subscription and is free of charge with the enabled Marantz products.
