The twin tuners in the SRT5438 allows you to record a program while you are watching another program on a different network. Now you don't have to miss your show while the kids watch theirs, or miss your second-favourite show that the channels have decided to play at the same time (why do they do that?)!

Plug and Play
The SRT5438 can also be used as a total media player solution, as it plays many different audio, video and image file formats such as MP3, MP4, JPG, AVI, DivX from an external USB 2.0 Hard Drive or pen drive. The USB port is also used for firmware updates to keep your PVR's software current.

Record 3D TV
If you currently own a 3D capable TV you can record and playback 3D broadcasts using your SRT 5438! With the DVR Ready feature you can connect additional Hard Drives up to a massive 1Tb (3D broadcasts can take up a lot of disc space). By recording to an external drive you can watch your favorite 3D sporting event or movie, and keep it to watch again or share with your friends.
