With its hybrid construction of tubes and transistors, the SP-T800 combines the advantages of transistor amplification and tube amplification. The monoblock design dedicates one monaural amplifier per channel - so to create a stereo system you'll need a pair of SP-T800s. This configuration, with a completely separate chassis and power supply for each amp and channel results in superior channel separation and enviable overall performance. For optimum performance, Vincent recommends a stereo preamplifier (SA-T8) or a multi-channel decoder preamplifier (SAV-C series) to be used alongside it.
The Best of Tubes and Solid State
The well-conceived design of the SP-T800 offers an ideal sonic combination, bringing you the warmth and detail that only vacuum tubes can provide along with the power and control of Vincent's solid state circuitry.
The SPT-800 delivers a clean and potent 200 watts of musical power at 8 ohms, thanks to the combined might of eight high-power transistors. The preamplification stage relies on Russian 6922 and a pair of 6N6 vacuum tubes for its excellence.
The massive 500-watt transformer supplies a total of 80,000 µF, which provides the foundation of this amp's exceptional bass. The new FET mains connector contributes to the high signal to noise ratio in the final stage, along with very little distortion plus a clear and open sound.
The XLR input lets you take maximum sonic advantage of the Vincent. The 12-volt trigger is great for system integration. Two pairs of speaker terminals give you A+B speaker selection.

About Vincent - born in Germany 1995
This story began very quietly. It would get louder, yes, later there'd even be rumbles and shouts. Unfortunately it couldn’t be otherwise. But for the moment it was so quiet that we didn't dare speak in anything but whispers and even this single “Psst” sounded like an explosion.
It all started with a quite ordinary question: How do I make High End affordable? Uwe Bartel set off looking for a valve amplifier by the direct route, working logically and continuously. The first step, the introduction of the SA-1 valve prestage and the D-150 output stage, still made a very quiet sound in the press but one that couldn't be missed. Then it got a bit louder when Vincent expanded its product range and regularly thrilled the specialist press – and music lovers in particular.
The rumble was powerful and certainly justified because the new Vincent products were now electronically redesigned and presented in a solid metal housing. Now the Vincent brand was making a really audible bang in the specialist press and putting prestige brands in the shade again and again.
Bartel, the electronics engineer, is constantly surprising everyone with his innovations. So he is always expanding Vincent's product range and always ensures a sensation and a whole lot of noise in the 2-channel electronics sector.
