We understand that buying audio equipment online or even in a purpose built sound room in a store can be totally different compared to hearing the products in your very own lounge room. Things like the acoustic properties of your room will vary greatly from your neighbours and this is why we strive to get you the very best result to suit your room and your budget.

We are extremely confident in our products and our ability to “put it all together” that we are willing to offer our customers a guarantee that has never been offered before and cannot even be matched by your local retail stores.

Basically it goes like this, if you’re not completely satisfied, and we mean, “completely satisfied”, you can return the audio equipment within 30 days upon day of purchase. We’ll refund your money in full and even pay the return-shipping fee.

Step 3
Now there are two options, the first is very simple, you just sit back and keep enjoying your new equipment and maybe just drop us a line to tell us how clever we are. The second option is that you call us and tell us that we haven’t got it quite right, we can talk about the options available and if all else fails we can issue you with some return freight labels and the equipment is returned to us. We will pay all the freight costs and credit your account once we receive the undamaged equipment.

NO SHIPPING COSTS | NO RE-STOCKING FEE | NO PROBLEMS.

Within 30 days upon day of purchase, if you choose to return equipment, simply call us on (07) 3823 1111 to get a Goods Return Authorisation (GRA). We’ll ask you a few simple questions and arrange the return. Shipping labels will be promptly sent with instructions. Then you must repack the products with all original packaging and please make sure that everything the units came with is included.

Once your returned merchandise arrives, we will inspect it to ensure it has been shipped back to us in its original condition. Upon a satisfactory inspection, we’ll issue a full credit for your original purchase price. For any product not shipped back in its original condition, an appropriate re-stocking fee will be charged. Wires and connective cables are only eligible for return if they are unused and returned in their original packaging. No refund will be issued for products that have been damaged, altered, or abused.

HANG ON TO THE ORIGINAL PACKING MATERIALS
Be sure and return the merchandise back to us in the original packaging materials. You cannot return the goods unless they have all the original packaging materials in new condition. It is also a good idea to keep your original packaging just in case they need to be sent back for service or even if you move house.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS ELLIGIBLE FOR THE 30 DAY GUARANTEE
The Aussie Hi Fi 30 days guarantee applies only to Audio devices or speakers that carry a 30 days stamp.

It is not offered on visual products such as plasma, LCD, projectors and other visual display devices. It does cover AV receivers, speakers, subwoofers and source components such as CD and DVD players. It does not cover kit furniture, self assembly stands or racks. It does not cover speaker cabling or interconnect leads.

For your protection an adult signature will be required to acknowledge you receive your shipment of equipment and this offer applies to Australian shipments only.

WARRANTY
Normal manufacturers warranty applies to all items unless otherwise clearly stated. These warranties cover all defects in material and workmanship with the following specific exceptions:

  • Damage caused by improper installation or adjustment
  • Damage caused by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect
  • Damage caused by an act of God
  • Damage from failure to follow instructions contained in the Owner's Manual
  • Damage from repairs performed by someone not authorised by manufacturer/distributor.
  • Any unit on which the serial number has been effaced, modified, or removed
  • Units which have been altered or modified in design, appearance or construction

This warranty covers only the actual defects within the products themselves. IT DOES NOT cover costs of installation in (or removal from) a fixed installation, or normal set-up, claims based on any misrepresentation by the seller, or performance variations resulting from installation related circumstances such as signal quality, AC power or incompatibilities with other system components.

During the warranty period, the manufacturer/distributor will, at its option, either repair the defect, or replace the defective product, or the defective parts, or components thereof with the then current product/component in use. At no charge to the owner for parts and labor covered by this warranty. If necessary repairs are not covered by this warranty, or if a unit is examined which is not in need of repair, you will be charged for the repairs and/or the examination.

If non-warranted repairs are needed, we will notify you of the estimated cost and ask for your authorization to perform said repairs. You must pay shipping charges incurred in getting your product to the appropriate repair facility.

The most dependable way to evaluate speakers is to listen to them critically in your own home, with your own equipment and music. That's why Aussie Hi Fi gives you 30 days to fully experience and scrutinize the sound and quality of our speakers and audio equipment before your decision is final.

Once I order how long will it take to get to me?

We trust in TNT to deliver across Australia via road express freight. Depending upon where you live it generally can be as fast as 48 hours and generally not more than 7 working days. The only exception may be industrial strikes or natural disasters which can be out of our control.

If there is a stock shortage situation you will be advised at the time of order of any delays expected.

What if I have questions about ordering or shipping?

What payment methods do you accept?
Direct bank deposits and online banking transfers.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Bankcards. We also offer eftpos transactions if you are picking up the goods in person. Aussie hi fi also accepts money orders, and cheques but please note that these will have to be cleared before goods can be shipped.

Is using my credit card safe?
Absolutely. All credit card information is transmitted using secure socket layer (SSL) encryption. Credit card transactions are handled by third-party financial institutions, which receive your credit card information solely for the purpose of verifying and processing your transaction.

Is the information I enter on the website secure?
Yes. Your complete privacy is of the utmost importance to us. All the information we receive from you is securely stored on a server that is in no way accessible through the internet. Our secure server encrypts all personal information you submit using the latest 128-bit encryption technology. This means that all your personal information is converted into a code that is securely transmitted over the internet. The information you provide is used solely to process orders. We do not sell or rent customer information to any other persons or companies under any circumstances.

If I return my order, how long before I get my credit?
Once your order is received, we inspect it to ensure it’s in satisfactory condition. Within three business days of receipt, we will credit your account and send you an email notification.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Within 24 hours of placing your order, Aussie hi fi will email you an order confirmation with a listing of the items you ordered and the scheduled shipping date. Following shipment (usually within 24 hours on in-stock items) we will email you a shipping advice. This document contains the item listing along with shipping information and tracking numbers. Simply click on the link in the e-mail and you will be transferred to the TNT website where you can enter your tracking numbers and receive detailed arrival information.
