Aussie Hi Fi was established with a strategic vision to offer a better way for Australian consumers to buy Hi Fi equipment whilst also providing a far more cost effective business structure than the traditional retail outlets.

We are the direct link from the manufacturer to the customer. We bypass so many traditional costs and mark-ups that you the customer would normally pay for.

Normally products are purchased from a retail store. Below is a guide that shows traditional retail methods and the Aussie Hi Fi difference.

The Traditional Method


 Typical importers purchase goods through wherever and whoever they can, then import and store in local warehouse for Retail Distribution.

Both the Importer and Distributor spend big dollars Nationally on sourcing retailers to take on their products which comes at a cost in terms of freight handling for national distribution, warehousing, marketing, promotion and advertising the products etc.

Sales representatives are employed to negotiate deals between the Retailer, the Importer and Distributor. Expenses incurred during this process wages, company cars, phones, travel expenses etc.

Retailers sell to the public via retail store outlets which have huge overheads, leasing, staffing. Therefore, the Retailer covers these expenses by adding a significant profit margin to the product.

Besides the Retailer having huge overheads to stock and sell the product in their store, it is usually only available for purchase during daytime hours which is not the convenient way to retail market today.
Therefore by using traditional business retailers, the customer ultimately pays the price as the products include all the compounding costs plus GST on those costs incurred from all the above handling.

We ship all goods with insurance so that in the unlikely event that your item is damaged in transit we will be able to replace it free of charge.

PICK UPS
Pick ups for this item are available from our Brisbane showroom if stocks are available.

MOST ORDERS:
• Within 2 business days from receipt of confirmed payment
• Will arrive within 3 business days after being shipped from our warehouse. However please allow up to 10 working days in the unlikely event that there is a delay in the usual process.

PLEASE NOTE
• Someone must be present to collect items at time of delivery
• In an event that nobody is present at the time of delivery, TNT charges a re-delivery fee of $25 each visit. However no fee will be charged if items are collected from the local depot.
• We cannot ship to PO Boxes
• No freight discounts on multiple eBay purchases
• You may use another courier service if you wish, however a $10 handling fee will apply.
