After the very successful LCD range, Audeze brings to the world, the very first on-ear planar magnetic headphone – the Audeze Sine. With this headphone, we bring the planar magnetic drivers, which have been used to great success in our other lines, to all the listeners out there. Along with our strategic partner, Designworks BMW, a BMW subsidiary, we have come up with a design that is practical and stylish at the same time, giving you all that you have come to expect from the Audeze range.
The Audeze Sine uses our signature planar magnetic drive technology, which consists of our proprietary, patent-pending ultra-thin large Uniforce diaphragms and the Fluxor magnetic array, another proprietary, patent-pending technology. The diaphragms are enclosed in the magnetic array and work with the array to clean up the sound so that you get amazing clarity and little to no distortion. The Fluxor magnetic array also helps in keeping the weight of the ear pieces down so that you can listen to your favourite music comfortably.
The patent-pending Fazor elements are also present in this headphone. They are arranged around the magnetic array and work by directing the flow of sound that comes from the array and steering it around the magnets. The result is an extended frequency response, increased transparency, and lower distortion. A wider soundstage gives you the kind of stereo imaging you could only have dreamt of.
The Audeze Sine continues in the tradition of the style that has been perfected by Audeze. It has been designed by Designworks BMW and utilises premium leather that not only looks stylish but is also long-lasting in both the headband and the ear cups. The ear cups are designed to fit over your ears comfortably, and the ear pads come with padding that is soft yet firm, ensuring that the cups sit properly over your ears and at the same time are comfortable even after you’ve worn them for a long time. The headband too is covered with the same premium leather and is very flexible to allow it to mould to the shape of your hear and allow you to wear the headphone with a greater degree of comfort.
The Audeze Sine is also the first on-ear headphone to be iPhone 7 ready. If, as is speculated, the iPhone 7 does away with the headphone jack completely, Audeze Sine already has the cable to deal with it. The headphone comes with Audeze’s Apple-Approved Lightning Cable with microphone included that can help you make the switch and also has a tangle-resistant headphone cord as well as a carry pouch included in the packaging.
